Our dessert from our dinner (a wedding gift from one of our groomsmen) at Daniel last night.
Hello, hive!
Sorry for being delinquent in posting. I have been one very bad bee but a very productive bride. I promise to fill you in on all the details after the big day. We won't be leaving for our honeymoon until September so I will have plenty of wedding withdrawal that will require lots of catching up on Weddingbee! I have missed you all and am looking forward sharing all the details I haven't had a chance to blog about.
As I write, my maid of honor is making some yummy dinner, my cousin/BM is working on some tea ceremony details, and Mr. Canary is out meeting and greeting some of our early arrival wedding guests at our local bar for our "Pub Night" event this evening. The only word to describe how I'm feeling right now is grateful. I am so thankful to have all these wonderful people in my life who are here to celebrate the love between me and Mr. Canary.
Our friends have been more than generous with their time and support. They have been there to plan the most amazing parties, listen to us rant, lend us their helping hands to work on our many wedding projects, and most importantly, getjust as excited and happy for us as we are for the big day. I was surprisingly shocked at how ecstatic and jazzed everyone is about the wedding.
Our families have been more than amazing. Papa Canary signed up for some last minute dance lessons with yours truly so that we could have an almost perfect Father-Daughter dance. Just practicing makes me choke up with realization at how lucky I am to have such a supportive and loving family and to marry into one that is just as great. Without them, this wedding would not be real.
And Mr. Canary has put up with a year and a half of wedding mania. Even on my worst days, he would greet me with a smile and a hug and remind me that the wedding is ultimately about the marriage. I couldn't agree more. No matter what happens, we still are going to get married and party the night away.
And of course, the hive! What would I do without my daily (OK, let's be realistic, minute by minute) addiction to Weddingbee? Bees and readers alike, you have been a treasure trove of information and inspiration. Thank you.
I am so glad I got to share this wild and crazy adventure with all of you!
See you on the other side!
Miss Canary
