Modernized Accessories

I just discovered Erie Basin (via Design*Sponge), a shop based in Red Hook, New York, which sells the coolest antique items. I love their philosophy and collection. Just browsing on their online shop makes you feel like you’re scoping out your hip great aunt’s surprisingly super modern attic! I want to buy everything!

The store’s objective is to collect early 19th and 20th century items with contemporary stylistic and cultural “relevance.” I found that it’s a great place for very modern bridal accessories.

This beautiful antique hair comb would complement any simple updo.

Or brides looking for brooches will find a very interesting selection here. Definitely different from what you see in bridal shops!

Erie Basin also showcases jewelry from various designers.

This would make a great wedding band.
