I Heart Our Photographer

...Angelica Glass. Though Angelica has been mentioned several times on Weddingbee, I thought I'd share my experience thus far.

I discovered Angelica about a year ago while trawling on Indiebride where this bride had posted some amazing engagement photos. What drew me to them was that they were in our future 'hood, which I always thought was our little secret New York spot! Also, the colors and compositions were breathtaking and so original.

Right after we got engaged, Angelica was the first vendor we contacted. Mr. Canary and I often have different aesthetic tastes, but we both agreed on Angelica and loved her work from the start. Also, wedding photos were one of our top priorities. To be fair we also looked at a few other photographers, but just kept coming back to Angelica's work. It was the perfect blend of art photography and photo-journalism.

Angelica was really accommodating and easy to work with-- we communicated via email for a few months (since I wasn't living in New York at the time) and when I finally got back, Mr. C and I went to meet her in person. She showed us some her amazing albums (which Mrs. Ant also showcased in a previous post). We clicked with Angelica and felt she understood us. Needless to say, we were sold!

We just had our engagement session this past week and I thought I'd share the previews. Angelica made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Mr. C and I just laughed and joked with her for most of the session. Everything was perfect except for a rude park ranger asking if we had a permit to shoot in the area. Angelica was awesome and totally stood up for us! She is fantastic and I am so pleased with the previews. I love all of them... I don't think I could even choose a favorite! I can't wait to get the rest and am even getting more excited for the wedding!
